I can't believe it's December 1st! Where has the year gone? I am not a huge fan of the holidays so I will be excited for January 1st to get here. :) Also ready for Spring already as everyone knows I don't like Winter time.
For those who celebrated Thanksgiving, hope you had a great one! I totally ate to much and still eating leftovers. :)
I have watched a few Christmas movies trying to get the holly jolly mood but I am more of a Grinch. :) I watched a movie called The Christmas Mystery (love the original title...lol) from 2014, I liked it probably because it had minimal Christmas...unlike the Hallmark Christmas movies which I have watched a few Jingle Bell Run, it's sort of like Amazing Race, but holiday themed and a movie not reality tv. Also watched Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, even though I live in Missouri I am not a Chiefs fan, but it started Tyler Hynes so that is all I needed to get to watch that movie...lol.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Books I have added
Nothing!
Books I Read
- North From Rome - Spy Thriller set in the 50's and it was okay.
- Blood Rites - Reread and just as good as the first time!
- The Blue Castle - This is my second L.M. Montgomery books and I really liked it.
- Bigfoot Hunters - This was a decent creature feature horror.

How did your week go? Hope you had a great week!
I can't believe it's December either! My daughter made me watch a movie called The Knight Before Christmas and it was ridiculous but fun:-) Have a good week, Stormi!
ReplyDeleteI think I have seen that one...lol. :)
DeleteI’m not not a fan of the holidays but they feel too commercial for me. I don’t buy gifts nor expect any from anyone. I cooked a 22 pound turkey and my family got sick. So now I have turkey that’s going to go bad well before it’s eaten. I haven’t read RaeAnn Thayer but her books seem to be popular and they do have a nice aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteCan you freeze some of the turkey to put in things later? That is a bummer that everyone got sick.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's December already too! This year seems to have flown by so fast!

I'm not a big fan of holidays either and I really can't believe there is only one more month in the year. I've been wanting to see a few Hallmark Christmas movies but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI ate too much too! I was still eating turkey and stuffig yesterday :)
ReplyDeleteI kind f like Christmas mysteries there's something about mysteries and the holiday
Blue Castle is one of my favorite Montgomery novels and I really need to reread it soon. I liked that Thayne book. It probably wasn't my absolute favorite of hers but it was still really good. Thayne never misses - especially with her Christmas books! I hope you're having a great week!
