The weeks seem to be flying by, it's just so hard to believe it's already the tenth of August. The dog days of summer are upon us and it sure is hot, one good thing is I haven't had to mow as no rain. We do need some rain though so hope it happens but not in the form of a nasty storm.
I watched a couple movies for what I am calling Action August. The first one was Setup starring Bruce Willis and 50 cents, wasn't a fan. Then an OG favorite Lethal Weapon that is totally a Christmas movie so might watch it again in December...lol. Then the last one I am still trying to figure out why as a teen I thought this movie was funny and watched it several times because I verily got through it and that was The Toxic Avenger from, I think 1984, OMG it was so bad, the extreme violence, cheesy over acted dialogue and well just everything. I know they are rebooting it but I probably won't watch it, but I am curious about the novelization being done for it. :)

- Shoot Don't Shoot - Third book in the Joanna Brady series and probably my favorite one so far!
- The Last Sleepover - The fifth book in the Goosebumps House of Shivers series and the best one so far! I think people will think it's super creepy.
- The Haunted Mask - The eleventh book from the original Goosebumps and it was fun.
- Primal Waters - The third book in the Meg series and probably my favorite so far.
Books I am Reading:
- Sweet Laurel Falls - The third book in the Hopes Crossing series and a buddy read with Barb! I am enjoying and about 40% into it. It's going to be a bit of an emotional one, but I guess I can handle it...lol.
- Unknown Threat - First book of the Defend and Protect series and Christian Fiction. I am enjoying it so far, I am 48% into it.
How was your week?
I enjoyed the Hope's Crossing series, and the follow-on series as well. I hope you like them! As for the weather, fall can't come soon enough for me!
